Meet the proud owner of McHugh Junk Removal

Meet Bill McHugh Jr., the proud owner of McHugh Junk Removal. While the work we do is essential, Bill’s true passion lies in empowering the team and fostering a culture where every member feels inspired, valued, and connected to the company’s mission. 

Bill started McHugh Junk Removal in 2019 with just a pick- up truck and a small utility trailer. Bill states “I had a simple mission : Help people clear the clutter one load at a time.” Little did he know, that humble beginning would snowball into something bigger than he could ever imagine. As word spread and demand grew, Bill began working on building an amazing team built with people who shared the same vision and passion for hard work. In 2021 Bill created McHugh Family Disposal, the sister company of McHugh Junk Removal that provides residential trash and recycling collection. Since developing this new branch of business, we have grown to service over 1,500 customers! 

“By instilling our vision of excellence and customer care, I’m proud to watch our team grow - personally and professionally. It’s amazing to see them embrace our goals and make a difference, not just in the work we do but in the way we work together as a family. Together, we’re building something special, and that’s my favorite part of the job.” 

Beyond leading the team, Bill has encountered more strange items in the back of a truck than he ever imagined existed. But his biggest adventure yet? Becoming a dad in 2024. We’re lucky to have a leader who values both hard work and family at the core of everything we do.

When she’s not running the office, Paisley enjoys eating everything in sight, playing with her three kitties, and passionately protesting against getting dresses. She may be our youngest team member, but she’s already making a big impact.
